What the work actually produces

Three engagements, written as challenge, work and result. Client names are withheld under confidentiality, but the numbers are real and the approach is the same one I would bring to your business.

Five acquired companies, one Microsoft 365 tenant, ninety days

Challenge

A publishing company grew from 300 to 450 people by acquisition, then found itself running five separate email tenants, three identity providers and overlapping licenses nobody owned. Every new hire took two days to onboard and no one could say with confidence who had access to what.

Work

Ran a 90-day current-state assessment across all five entities, then consolidated into a single Microsoft 365 tenant with Google Workspace interoperability for the teams that needed it. Rebuilt identity on SSO, standardized onboarding and offboarding into a documented playbook, and renegotiated the overlapping vendor contracts as a single book of business.

Result

Consolidation finished inside the 90-day window. Onboarding dropped from two days to under four hours. Annual software and vendor spend fell by $600,000 while the company was still growing.

From no formal security program to audit ready ahead of schedule

Challenge

A fast-growing company started losing enterprise deals in procurement. Prospects were asking for SOC 2 evidence the company could not produce, and there was no SIEM, no vulnerability management, and no written access review process.

Work

Built a SOC 2 aligned security program from the ground up. Deployed SIEM and vulnerability management, implemented MFA and conditional access across the identity stack, wrote the access review and incident response procedures, and trained the internal team to run all of it without me.

Result

The company reached audit readiness ahead of the original timeline and cut its breach exposure roughly in half by the assessment's own scoring. Security questionnaires stopped being the reason deals stalled.

Cutting tier 1 and tier 2 ticket volume nearly in half

Challenge

A global support organization was absorbing thousands of repetitive requests a month. Password resets, access requests and software installs were consuming the team's capacity, response times were slipping, and the answer everyone reached for was hiring more people.

Work

Championed an AI and machine learning automation program instead. Built intelligent ticket routing, deployed a self-service knowledge base tied to the identity system, and automated the highest-volume request types end to end. Paired it with an adoption framework so people actually used the new path.

Result

Tier 1 and tier 2 ticket volume fell 47 percent. First contact resolution held at 98.7 percent against a sub four hour response SLA, and the team was redeployed onto work that needed human judgment.
