The questions people ask before they call

Straight answers on scope, pricing, contracts and how the work actually runs. If yours is not here, ask me directly.

Two kinds of business. Small businesses across DFW with roughly 5 to 50 people who need day to day IT support and do not have anyone in house running it. Medical and dental practices, law firms, agencies, contractors, nonprofits and professional services offices are the typical fit.

And funded startups or growing companies that need IT leadership rather than a help desk. Someone to make the architecture and vendor decisions, build the security program, and hand it over documented.

Both, and they are priced separately so you know which you are buying. The managed plans and hourly work are hands on. I do the actual configuration, the migrations, the device setup and the support calls.

The consulting tiers are leadership work. Strategy, architecture, roadmap and vendor decisions. Build and Scale include implementation. Foundation is advisory with written deliverables.

Managed plans are month to month with 30 days notice. There is no long term contract, because a business should stay because the work is good.

Consulting tiers run on a three month minimum, which is the honest floor for infrastructure work that has to actually land rather than just be recommended. Project work is scoped and quoted individually.

From the $250 IT Health Check, a written action plan covering your network, computers, backups, Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 security settings and software spend, with every finding ranked by risk and cost and sequenced so your team can start Monday.

From a managed plan, a named engineer, a ticketing system with a real ticket number on every request, monitoring and patching on every machine, and a quarterly health report. From a consulting engagement, documented architecture, playbooks and a roadmap your team owns after I am gone.

Remote first, onsite when it matters. Most issues get resolved faster in a secure remote session than waiting for a truck, so that is the default. When remote cannot finish the job, I come out, next business day anywhere in DFW.

The Complete plan includes unlimited onsite across the metro. Managed includes a quarterly visit. Essentials is remote with onsite billed hourly.

Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm Central. Response commitment is one business hour when your business cannot operate and four business hours for everything else.

After hours, weekends and same day emergencies are available by arrangement at 1.5x the standard rate. That is stated up front so it never turns up as a surprise on an invoice.

No. Managed plans are month to month with 30 days notice. Licenses, domains and accounts stay in your name, full documentation is handed over on request, and there is no exit fee if you ever leave.

If a provider needs a three year lock to keep you, the work is not the reason you are staying.

Managed plans carry a five user minimum, so somewhere around five people is the practical floor. Most clients sit between 10 and 40 users.

Below five people, prepaid hourly blocks are usually the better economics. Above about 60 users you are into territory where a consulting tier alongside the managed plan starts to make sense.

Yes, and that is deliberate. You get a senior IT leader on your account rather than a rotating queue of tier 1 technicians reading from a script. The person who scopes your work is the person who does it.

It also means honest limits. Support hours are stated, the SLA is business hours, and I will tell you when a job needs a specialist rather than pretend otherwise.

The free consult is 20 minutes and costs nothing. The IT Health Check is $250 flat, and the fee is credited in full toward any monthly plan or consulting tier you start within 30 days.

Managed plans start at $59 per user per month with a five user minimum. Hourly support is $150. Full pricing is on the rate card, downloadable from the Managed IT section.
